SCHS Students are allowed to carry Cell Phones to School Under Strict Measures.

Written by - Oraine Mattis

On Wednesday, September 20, 2023, Mr. Marlon Campbell, Principal of St. Catherine High announced to parents at a General PTA Meeting that students are allowed to carry their cell phones to school. Our Principal also highlighted that students’ phones should not be seen or heard during school hours which are 7:45 am - 2:45 pm. This update was necessary as concerns arise with the use of Cell phones before and after school. This issue was previously discussed at a board meeting where this decision was made.

That's a reasonable and considerate decision.

Phones are distractions and accelerate detour in focus.

Students. Please to comply with the School rules and protocol 🙏
